It was a Benadryl kind of day…all weekend long.

We are trying to get the house ready for dad and Jake to get here in the morning and in doing that something has set off my allergies something fierce! I can’t stop sneezing and my eyes are watering. But we have worked our little rears off this weekend and I have never loved this flat more. The second bedroom is finally a functioning guest room and for the first time the door shuts when the Aero bed is blown up.

I didn’t post a thorough review of our dinner last night because I underestimated how hard it would be to blog while eating and staying involved in conversation with the other 6 people at the table. Overall it was really really good. It wasn’t the same as a place at home but the quality was really high and all the spices and sauces tasted as if they were created by someone who had actually been to Mexico. I would definitely go back.

Going to go and make granola bars and cookies for Dad and Jake! Then take enough Benadryl to knock me out for many hours.

Sorry about your allergies. I am getting the urge to do some serious spring cleaning, but I don’t know when I will get the time. I guess I will have to do it three or four hours at a time but I had rather be out in the yard.:) I hope you all have a wonderful time visiting and you showing Jake and Terry around. Have fun.

So glad you are getting some family time. Hate that the allergies had to kick in though. Have a wonderful week and enjoy the hugs. XOXO
