98 Cubic Feet

I got 98 cubic feet of junk out of my house today. What did you do? Seriously, it felt so incredibly good to say goodbye (for now) to all this crap. It isn’t really crap. Most of it will find its place in our home one day. We were very naive when we moved here. Maybe not naive but we had no grasp on how small our place would be or just how much we would need to cut out in order to live over here. But the reality is that Mike doesn’t play golf over here nor does he need a full toolbox. The reality is that we do not need to take up the only closet we have with three Rubbermaid tubs of Christmas decorations. The reality is that when you have no bookshelves, you have nowhere to put books. So we are reclaiming some sanity and some space in our own home. As soon as the movers pulled away it was like a great weight fell off my shoulders. And it is nice to know that it will all be waiting for us for that glorious day that we move back to Texas.

Isn’t it amazing how good spring cleaning makes one feel. So happy that you have the opportunity to reclaim some space in your flat. That glorious day that you move back to Texas can’t come soon enough for those us here that love & cherish you. XO

How in the world did you get all of that in your little apartment. You must have a lot of room now. I am sure that you will miss this stuff so much that you will be anxious to get back to Texas. How in the world will Mike get along without seeing his golf clubs every day.:) Love you both soooooo much.
