Germany in Hipstamatic!

I am really hoping that you are reading this as I am high above the Atlantic somewhere. As of this posting, our flight is still scheduled to go on time (knock on wood). We are sick and nervous about it and doing everything we can (nothing) to make sure that everything goes smoothly. So to keep you entertained while we are in transit- here are some hipstamatic pics of Germany.

We took a beer and brewery tour the first evening there and it was so much fun! We were with a great group and it is a great chance to learn about brewing in Bavaria. It is such an important part of the culture there.

This is a wheat beer that is very strong and I think tastes like a banana soda.

These are three different beers made from the same small microbrewery.

By the time we finished that evening it was really coming down with snow- the biggest flakes that I have ever seen!

Two booths that were just some of the MANY in the Christmas markets.

One final sausage and pretzel in the airport before we left!

Here’s hoping that my next post is written from the great state of Texas!

About fishandchipsandsalsa

This is the story of a newlywed-ish couple in Dallas about to pack up their lives and pups to move to jolly ol' England. They will miss good family, good friends and good fajitas.

I hear you are experiencing travel woes too. My Christmas wish is that we all get back to Texas soon for some warmer weather and family time with those we love.

Best of luck with the travels,
