StumbleUpon. Do any of you have that program on your computer? You sign up and tell StumbleUpon some of your interests and then any time you are bored on the internet you can hit the Stumble button and it brings up a totally random website for you to look at. It can be quite interesting as you come across things that you never even know exist.

I think living in a big city is like the real life version of StumbleUpon. You are just walking down the street and then BAM! what the heck is that? We went to dinner with some friends on Saturday night. We headed up to the Oxford Circus area and at the end of the evening we were headed back to the tube stop and we saw a strange plastic thing down an alley. We went to check it out and it was a multi-person portable public urinal. Seriously? Seriously.

Mike and Adam happily posed for me. (Note: they were not really using it- just posing for a picture)

Kate and I couldn’t let the boys have all the fun!

I am a little bitter. As if men didn’t already have shorter lines in real bathrooms, now they get these handy albeit disgusting public toilets.

The fun of a big city!

Well, now we have seen it all! Interesting concept. I guess men are more likely to go in public than women, thus creating the need for these handy-dandy gizmos.

After being inspired by such marvelous stumble upon’s I threw caution to the wind and went to investigate the much publicize “Super Colon”, it is a traveling exhibit available to only 100 cities. It very much resembled a run through tunnel seen on football fields throughout Texas on Fridays in the fall. I felt like I was in the movie “Fantastic Voyage” I took video and am just waiting for my students to ask what I did on Easter break. Won’t they be surprised?
