Bonjour, Part Deux!

On Friday we decided to head out to Versailles to see the palace!  Even if you aren’t in Paris very long, it is worth it to take the train and see it. To our great surprise it had snowed in Versailles the night before! We took tons of pictures of the rooms because each one was better than the one before but I can’t post them all but here are a few of our favorites.

The Gardens are world famous for their beauty. In the spring and summer you can rent bikes and paddle boats and tour the many many acres. We walked some and we walked through them to get to Marie Antoinette’s house but unfortunately the weather did not let us see it all.

I think that it is funny that both our moms commented on Mike’s hat. First, let me clear up that it is not a beret as was suggested. I think we are going with newsboy cap. Ever since Mike’s bout of what I call the plague this October/November/December he has been better about keeping covered. I bought him a scarf and he loved it so much that he now has a collection rivaling mine! He has been wanting a hat but thinks that tight hats don’t look good on him and the only other thing we could find was a fedora (not an option). I stumbled on the hat he is wearing at an H&M for six pounds and decided that he needed it. He decided that he liked it and wore it the whole trip and even had it on going to work this morning! So hopefully we can avoid a second round of plague and he looks so darn cute in it too!

I’ll post more pic and details tomorrow!

Now that I can see it closer, I can see that it is not a beret. Is a newsboy cap the English version of a baseball cap? Mom

Mike I think you look really cute in your hat or cap or whatever it is. Andrea maybe you should get a cap or something on your head. You looked like your head might be a little cold. It looks like you both are having so much fun.I am glad you are getting to do so much and see so much of the world. What did you do with the pups?
    Love you both, Nana
