Reunited, and it Feels so Good!

Isn’t that the most beautiful van in the whole world? That is the van that brought the pups home today! Their flight landed at 6:45 this morning and we knew it would take up to 4 hours for them to clear customs. We were hoping that it wouldn’t take that long and set our alarm for 7:30. We got dressed and crashed on the couch so that we would be sure to hear them. Unfortunately, it took them the whole four hours plus a 45 minute ride to our place. I was a basket case the whole morning and kept running out the door every time I heard a car. They finally got here around around noon. They  were a little confused at first but they seem to be adjusting just fine!! It finally feels like our move is finished. Our little family is whole again and we have pretty much just camped out on the couch and snuggled with the pups all day! Thanks to everyone who helped us out in getting the over here. We appreciate it so much.

I am so glad they made it OK. I was so worried that they would not be treated well but it looks like they are just fine. It was really hard to see them go and we will miss them terribly. Take care of our babies and I will see you next week.
    Love, Nana

Well, it looks like they have each found their “spots.” I am so glad they are such good travelers. Don’t you know they wondered what on earth was going on. So glad they made it and I know you were both glad to get them there. So, do you think HB will develop a British howl??

Heaven goes by favor. If it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in.

I hit submit before I was ready, so I’ll finish here now. Ten reasons why it’s great to be a dog.

    1. If it itches, you can reach it. And no matter where it itches, no one will be offended if you scratch it in public.

    2. No one notices if you have hair growing in weird places as you get older.

    3. Personal hygiene is a blast: No one expects you to take a bath every day, and you don’t even have to comb your own hair.

    4. Having a wet nose is considered a sign of good health.

    5. No one thinks less of you for passing gas. Some people might actually think you’re cute.

    6. Who needs a big home entertainment system? A bone or an old shoe can entertain you for hours.

    7. You can spend hours just smelling stuff.

    8. No one ever expects you to pay for lunch or dinner. You never have to worry about table manners, and if you gain weight, it’s someone else’s fault.

    9. It doesn’t take much to make you happy. You’re always excited to see the same old people. All they have to do is leave the room for five minutes and come back.

    10. Every garbage can looks like a cold buffet to you.

Looks like they are recovering from jet lag well in the last picture. Counting the days! XOXO Mom
