No Grandbabies for You.

Sorry Mom and Jeanne. There will be no grandbabies for you ever. Why? Because I will damage them.

Our friends Becca and Michael in Dallas just had their first baby yesterday!!! He is precious and adorable and I think that Becca should get extra points for being 9 months pregnant in August. So I was looking at itty bitty baby stuff on the internet registry and I saw this:

And I thought, “How great, it is like a playpen stroller so the baby can sit up and play.” That is definitely just a stroller base and you have to buy some type of holder to put the baby in that would be, you know, SAFE so that the baby wouldn’t fall out onto the street. Good grief, Andrea. It doesn’t even have a bottom. So sorry, hope you all like Hannahbelle and Kricket, who for the record, would love that stroller. They are all you’re getting.

HOWEVER, your kids will think you are the coolest mom ever . . . having a rolling play pen with all the toys, I’m sure, included in it! How fun would that be, after the safety issue is solved of course!

Remember, babies are extremely resilient! After all, you survived this aunt’s complete inability to dress you properly! I still think you had defective pajamas! Regardless of how the clothes went on you were still the cutest thing ever!

Oh, and also remember that Jake survived the BIG slide episode!

So see, babies CAN still be in your future!

(Note to Cindy and Nana: I’m doing my best to keep babies in our future!)

And, what makes you think we haven’t damaged you in your 20+ years! We love you just the way you both are. Keep repeating….I am not afraid. I am not afraid.
