Our last week and a half in numbers

Apartments moved out of: 1

Movers it took to move out our tiny one bedroom: 5

Stolen store buggies shipped to London: 1*

Stolen store buggies kept here for our return: 1*

Days in Intercultural training: 2

Times I cried in intercultural training: 3

Page length of the paper that I finally got in: 18

Rubbermaid tubs full of random stuff we still need to go through: 37

Times we have looked at each other and said, “oh my goodness we’re freakin’ moving to London”: 1,365,287

I took pictures of everything in the apartment both before and after the move, and I will get them posted as soon as I go through the 37 Rubbermaid tubs and find the cord that goes to the camera. It was very weird to leave that apartment, it was ghetto and concrete and the building was old as dirt, but it was home. Thanks to everyone that helped with the whole grueling process, we couldn’t have done it without you!

*We did not steal either of these buggies. We found them near the dumpsters at our building. Until you have had a full size buggies at your disposal, there is no way you can understand the joy that they bring. Please stop judging us now.

You have inspired me to find my own buggy. You know I could “store” that one you leave in the states.
